Web 2.0 for the Classroom

I enjoyed browsing through the different categories that were listed on Web 2.0 for the Classroom, but found it to be a little bit overwhelming. There is so much out there! Clicking on one list often led to another list and yet another. I did come across several sites that I have used in my classroom. We use Ask.com, CreateaGraph, and Google Earth often. There were many sites listed that I would like to explore more and seem like they would be good resources for the projects that we will be creating in this class.

  1. What school do you teach at? It is nice to see a fellow OPS teacher on here. For I-Safe, I think we have access to it on Angel in the Reading Repository. I will definitely look more into it. I agree that there are so many sites that are worth exploring more often. I am excited to check out CreateaGraph.

  2. Mary-
I agree that this assignment is a bit overwhelming. There is so much out there but you are at a unique advantage considering that your school has so much technology. What things do you find particularly helpful in your ESL class?
