Working on my Wiki/Web 2.0 Assignment
Today I'm determined to get this Wiki/Web 2.0 assignment done. I was really confused about what was expected on this assignment at first, but having gone in to look at it again this morning, I'm feeling a little bit better about it. (I sure hope this isn't just false hope.:-) I'm going to do my very best to finish up everything for this class today because I've got a very, very busy week ahead! We have parent/teacher conferences both Wed. & Thurs. and then I'm leaving for weekend in New York City on Friday morning! That old saying, 'When it rains, it pours!' really is true for me right now.

Working on my Curriculum Unit...
I have been working on my Curriculum Unit project this week and am hoping to finish it up soon. I had not heard of several of these new assignments, such as a track, E sheet, or hotlist before. It’s been interesting trying these different types of assignment creators, and at times somewhat challenging. I think that my favorite will continue to be the E sheet, since that can be created right on a Word document and then uploaded straight to Google docs and then added to my Curriculum project. Time is always such a factor in my schedule, as I’m sure it is with all educators, and the easier it is to create a new lesson, the better!

Web 2.0 for the Classroom
I enjoyed browsing through the different categories that were listed on Web 2.0 for the Classroom, but found it to be a little bit overwhelming. There is so much out there! Clicking on one list often led to another list and yet another. I did come across several sites that I have used in my classroom. We use Ask.com, CreateaGraph, and Google Earth often. There were many sites listed that I would like to explore more and seem like they would be good resources for the projects that we will be creating in this class.
